Introducing Neurobloom, a monthly crafty adventure for the neurodiverse children who crave novel creative outlets.​

We set our neurodiverse kids up for success when we encourage them to do what they love,

in affirming spaces, with people who get it!

​

The craft club is neuro-affirming because:

• it's low social pressure - kids can interact as much - or as little - as they'd like. We don't place any expectations on them for socialization,

• we give kids the choice to participate by 1) following an instructed process (with a lead/guide) 

• OR kids can choose to follow their hearts, for those independent and self-led creatives​,

• we always offer visual instruction cards, for those who prefer quiet and/or independence,

• we offer added grown-up support, for those who feel their best when they're well connected,

• we offer varied seating/standing options,

• we use soft lighting (no flourescents!) and relaxing music (to help soothe those nervous systems)

• and parents are welcome to stay as long as they (or the kiddos) would like!

This program is for your child if...​

• your child enjoys/is interested in crafting

• your child is neurodiverse in some way (our definition of neurodiverse is broad - it includes mental health conditions like anxiety, trauma, developmental conditions like ADHD and autism - no formal diagnosis required)

• your child would benefit from having a creative outlet among fellow neurodiverse peers​

 

The Craft Club includes:

• monthly crafting sessions (one hour long)

• all crafting supplies

• all projects are yours to keep!

Dates: Once a month on Thursdays - September 18, October 16, November 13, December 11​

Times: from 5:00pm-6:00pm

Location: 59 Avonlea Court, Fredericton, NB
